NAIDOC day celebrations in Nimbin today was filled with lots of fun and music. One of the main performances of the day were Indigenoise. If you missed them you on the day you can see a clip of their performance below.

Nimbin MardiGrass is held on the 1st Sunday of May each year.
This small town in Northern NSW town gets filled up each year with wonderful performances from all over the globe.
While Guthrie is only from the other side of Australia (WA) he still made the journey over here to join us all in our annual Law Reform Rally.
Guthrie is a very talented guitar player, as well as a singer and we had the chance to do a live recording of his MardiGrass 2018 performance.

Nimbin MardiGrass has come and gone yet again.
The weekend was filled with fun and emotion as people from all over gathered together. Check out the video below to see the action in the Main Street on the Saturday night.

As a part of the Nimbin Aquarian Foundation’s Merry Month of May tonight is the 45th Aquarius Tribute Concert!

Nimbin Mardi Grass 2018 (Friday)
We have been a little quiet lately here at Nimbin Zone Magazine and that’s because we’ve been preparing for this years Mardi Grass!!
There is lots to see and do this May in Nimbin, starting with the 2018 Nimbin MardiGrass opening ceremony this Friday 5pm at Allsop park. Where there will be Fire Dancers, the arrival of the Hemp Olympic Torch and the Bundjalung Custodians will be doing a smoking ceremony. AND our Friday night usuals Nimbin Street Drummers will be drumming the night away!
